A hamper for Care Recipient Ashley

Here is what carer Ashley said to nominate him:

"Ashley has been a resident here at Ty Mair Care Home for almost 10 years. Ashley will be 80 years old in July & has been the longest resident we have in our home. Ashley was the first resident here to fight covid & come out of isolation, he is a one of a kind character that everybody loves & gets on with. Ashley enjoys watching TV, playing bingo, chatting with staff & other residents, enjoys a cup of tea with biscuits or cheese on toast. He’s also partial to soft mints & a packet of ready salted crisps. If Ashley won this award he would be over the moon & give him the boost he deserves."

Tea, crips and biscuits hamper

Here is what Lian had to say when presented with his hamper:

"Ashley received his hamper today. He was very shocked and didn’t know why he had received it. I explained what Pollard’s promises was for and why I nominated him which he was happy with.  He would like to thank you very much for his hamper and looks forward to a cup of tea with his biscuits and crisps."
