A lovely hamper of treats for Nicky

Here is what carer Mary said to nominate her:

"Nicky Hawkins works at Palatine Primary SEND school as a forest school tutor. I met her when my son started school 15 years ago and I volunteered in the garden. Not only is she outside with the youngsters every day in all weather, she helps at all school events and parades etc, works at St Barnabas at weekends and still does respite work. Did I tell you she is a single parent, who brought up her girls to achieve Degrees? She brings her regular respite lad (now in his 20s!) to our camping trips where he has learnt to join in with us all and has a super time. She just works like a trojan, volunteers like a saint and is an amazing friend"

Here is what Mary had to say when presented with her wish:

"The Package arrived on Nicky’s return from climbing Snowdon! These pics are from her daughter, who said she was thrilled that she had an unexpected gift! What a lovely job you have!! She is Forest school teacher at Palatine SEND Primary school, and does a cleaning shift every other weekend at St Barnabas hospice."

Here is what Nicky had to say:

"ooooohhhh, it's so exciting!"
