Why Margaret Was Nominated

Margaret has been a full-time carer for her husband for the past five years after he suffered a major stroke and seizure. As a result, he is now non-verbal and immobile, requiring around-the-clock care.

Despite the challenges, Margaret never stops giving, not only does she continue to care for her husband even when she is unwell herself, but she also shares valuable advice and guidance with others navigating the complexities of caring for loved ones with dementia.

Beyond being a dedicated wife and carer, Margaret is also a wonderful mum and grandmother, always putting her family first. Her kindness, resilience, and willingness to help others made her the perfect choice for a well-deserved treat.

A Special Surprise

To show appreciation for everything she does, Pollard’s Promises gifted Margaret an Afternoon Tea Voucher for Two, a moment of indulgence just for her. She was able to enjoy a wonderful afternoon at Wivenhoe House, sharing the experience with a special friend who has always been there for her.
