At Pollard’s Promises, we believe in creating unforgettable moments and what better occasion to celebrate than a 105th birthday? 🎉

We were honoured to arrange a flower workshop for the residents of Holbrook Hall Care Home, including the incredible Hilda Jackson, who recently made the news for reaching this remarkable milestone. Hilda has a lifelong love of flower arranging, so this special wish was close to her heart.

On 12th April 2025, the sunshine poured in as 16 residents took part in a creative afternoon of flower arranging, led by the talented Hayley Evans from The Blossom Branch Florist. Surrounded by blooms, smiles, and laughter, the residents made beautiful summer floral displays while enjoying each other’s company in a truly heartwarming atmosphere.

Rebecca Wass, Manager at Holbrook Hall, shared:

"We were absolutely delighted with the flower arranging workshop provided by Pollards Promises for Hilda’s 105th birthday celebration. It was a truly joyful afternoon, with Hilda and several of our residents thoroughly enjoying the chance to create beautiful summer floral displays under the sunshine. Activities like this are so important in promoting creativity, wellbeing and social connection.
