At Bloomsbury Home Care, dedication and compassion shine through in the work of individuals like Rebecca Smith. Nominated by Debbie Smith, Rebecca has faced immense personal challenges while continuing to care for others with unwavering kindness.
Since her teenage years, Rebecca has battled several serious illnesses, including Crohn’s disease, colitis, and most recently, laryngeal cancer. Despite these challenges, she has selflessly dedicated herself to caring for the elderly and adults with mental health needs. She also provided loving care for her father before his passing from dementia in 2020.
Now serving as Office Manager at the South Essex branch of Bloomsbury Home Care, Rebecca continues to make a meaningful impact on both her team and the people they support.
To recognise her resilience, compassion, and dedication, Pollard’s Promises has granted her a Highland Cow Experience Day Voucher at Round Oak Farm in Kent—a truly special gift, as she has always dreamed of sponsoring a Highland Cow and visiting them in person.
A Heartfelt Thank You
